Go Travel and See Strasbourg, France

Let's go travel and see the world again! How about visiting the capital and principal city of the Alsace region in north-eastern France? We had finally visited Strasbourg last year in December. It is a city close to the border of Germany. I was even thinking before that this city is within Germany but it is not. Its name sounds like German, the reason why I was thinking about it.

Strasbourg is also an official seat of the European Parliament. This was the reason why I wanted to visit it, to see the European Parliament building here. Sad to say, we don't have much time going around the city. At least, we were able to visit it and had witnessed its famous Christmas Market.

You can see the tower of the Strasbourg Cathedral towering above the Old Town.

Strasbourg is situated on the Ill River, where it flows into the Rhine on the border with Germany, across from the German town Kehl.

These are the lovely memes; My World Tuesday, Watery, Wordful, Wordless and Outdoor Wednesday.

Thanks to the Authors of these sites for hosting these wonderful memes. Have a great and blessed day!

Five minutes from Strasbourg in Kehl, Germany there are many deals available attracting tourists with free boat rides and bicycle rental when they book for the weekend, not a bad deal.
